It is effective against a broad-spectrum of pests in the field and stored products, and is often used in public health vector control and animal health for ectoparasite control. David Grays D.D.V.P. 500 contains dichlorvos that combines both contact and stomach action and has a marked vapour action. Therapeutically the active ingredient, dichlorvos is used to treat variety of parasitic worm infection in dogs, livestock and humans. Can also be used on livestock to control botfly larvae in the manure.
